1/2 c salt 2 tbs cooking oil 2 c boiling water with a (drop of food colouring) 2 c flour 1 tbs alum |
Mix flour and alum together. Add 1c at a time to first mixture of salt, oil and water mixing well. Add more flour if needed. Knead until good consistency. Deeps indefinitely in plastic bag. Can be cut into Christmas shapes and baked. Let the kids paint then and hang them on the tree. Make a hole for hanging before baking.
