- Ten years marks the anniversary of ice storm 1998 with another in Atlantic Canada. Power was out to 98% of the Island for days. Shelters set up by the Red Cross. Measured amounts of ice on lines were 12 inches in some areas.

- June 2007
- The Tea Room was featured in the Northern Star with a photo of Florence (first and eldest customer of HR) wearing one of my favourite hats (remembered always- Florence-Oct 2007).
- May 2007
- Carolyn Bertram stops in for a short visit, puts on a hat, has tea, and talks about the upcoming election. What a sweetie, excellent photo of her in our tea room.
- May 1st 2007
- Opened the Tea Room, dressed for tea, took snapshots, scrapbooked the menu and had a great first month.
- December 2007
- Started to include French translation on B&B web site pages.
- April 2007
- Tied up loose ends, redesigned the web site to include the tea room. Got licensed, added the hats to the tea room, made the menu. Left for NC for a short visit then back to open May1st.
- March 2007
- Remodeled the West front room and painted, put in shelves, stands, lighting, moved the gift shop inside and arranged room.
- January 2007
- Turned the living room area into the parlour for the tea room. Finished hardwood floors, stained and varnished, built shelf around upper of room, installed new lights, put tongue and groove on wall along with chair rails, painted and papered.
- November 2007
- Started building the second kitchen, replaced and raised window, sink area,, dishwasher area, counters, upper and lower cupboards, saloon doors, it was a big undertaking for us
- February 2006
- Launched our revamped web site to feature the Island Made gift store and the Scrapbooking Workshop

- Got a Hair Brain Idea to redo the Beverly Hills B&B room upstairs (note to self: on a deadline)
- November 2005
- Started working the redesign of the new web site, integrating the B&B with Scrapbooking
- September 2005
- Walked across Confederation Bridge on the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope (raised 251.50 for cancer research)
- June 2005
- Added the picture of the week to the web site

- Revamped the site and changed the name to Scrapbook Cindy featuring the Island Made shop featuring scrapbooking with a grand opening on June 18

- Updated information on basic steps and the workshops

- Special time has been set aside to build product for Anne of Green Gables 100th anniversary. New borders, mini books, albums, book markers, and keepsakes mark the anniversary of Anne.
- April 2007
- Took a short trip to NC, scrapbooked for 22 hours of the drive to build product for this years stock.
- March 2007
- Put Teaching on hold this year and took a year off for me. Moved the Gift Shop into the house.

- Emily- Elizabeth arrives safe, what a beauty she is and Emily is grand baby girl #4. Wow!

- With help I was able to open the Island Made a gift and souvenir shop. This is also my scrapbooking workshop in Prince Edward Island were visitors come and scrapbook their vacation photos. Scrapbooking has also introduced me to yet another hobby....photography! Now I take pictures everywhere I go and most often for my scrapbook.

- I was featured in The Buzz (local business magazine).

- I was featured on the front page of the Journal Pioneer (local paper).

- Started doing girl's Scrapbooking Birthday Parties (what a good time we have)
- June 2004
- I won 3M's Canadian Scrapbook Challenge and my page, along with 12 others, was presented to our Heritage Minister to be placed in Ottawa's Parliament Hill (my home town).

- I taught community school at the Golf Shore school.

- I started scrapbooking once again only this time I turned my hobby of scrapbooking into a small home-based business and an obsession! Although the idea of scrapbooking is putting layouts and photos into an album it means more for me. I scrapbook journals, make photo memory boxes and cards, and make picture frame 3-D scrapbook collages.
